Emily Frost

Emily is a travel writer and social media coordinator working with prestigious travel authority Lonely Planet. She approached me wanting to legitimise her online presence with a personalised branding solution.

The final concept was an ambigram logomark of her initials ‘EF’ paired with strong custom type. An ambigram is unique in that it can be flipped upside-down and still read the same. I felt this was a great way to emulate the duality of her position and ever changing nature of her passion for travel. Included in this study are other concepts and evolutions that didn’t make the final cut.

Belle Vue Girls’ Academy

This project centred on a rebrand for Belle Vue Girls’ Academy. The school wanted a refresh of their current branding, which had an antiquated representation of their ‘horn’ motif. I proposed a refresh of the horn, with a more contemporary type set, and incorporated a stylised version of the school’s red seen in the fabric and accenting on uniforms throughout the academy.

Lawrence Rhoad

After enjoying incredible success through developing their first ‘million pound property’, the founders of Lawrence Rhoad approached me with the task of creating a strong visual brand for the company, which had previously relied only on word-of-mouth marketing.

The brief was to create a fresh, professional aesthetic that reflected their success. I created an intricate monogram of ‘L’ and ‘R’ that is indicative of the way they and their business partners work together. I also created further brand accents and marketing paraphernalia.
