Amex Summer Drop
We built and launched an AR game to highlight member benefits for American Express.
‘American Express Summer Drop’ was a virtual game that gave people the chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be a Cardmember. Players could win tickets to a range of sought-after events from the American Express Experiences programme or vouchers from a range of American Express retail partners for the summer of 2022.
The prizes were not too shabby, including tickets to The Championships, Wimbledon, American Express presents BST Hyde Park; Wilderness Festival; Luno presents All Points East; Somerset House Summer Series with American Express; and Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Though if you didn’t win ‘big’ there were also vouchers to spend at places like Harvey Nichols and Bloom & Wild plus free coffees at Caffè Nero.
Black Art, Black Stories, Black Voices
We joined forces with Disrupt Space, Octagon and The Ideas foundation to celebrate and empower Black creatives, to showcase the work of groundbreaking Black artists from Europe, in a year of racial reckoning. We took traditional artists and introduced them to the NFT artspace to showcase their work, their stories, and commissioned art pieces that told the the stories of our United ERG members.
In Art Directing this campaign, I had the honour of creating the branding for the project, heading some incredibly fun photoshoots, working with some exceptionally talented artists, and generally keeping the campaign on brand while simply letting the work of our artists flare.
Krazy Tasty Base Hunt
We partnered with Kellog’s Tresor to create a branded map in the massively popular online game Fortnite. While Art Directing on this one I was point guard on all things design, whilst also getting heavily involved in map styling, story building, branding, scripting writing, voice-over, and ‘testing’.
